Theatre Service & Supply (TSS) consults on auditorium & projection booth designs, technical equipment and project management for clients within the global motion picture industry. TSS is focused on consulting on both 2K and 4K digital cinema projection systems, 3D technology, digital servers, digital sound systems, 16/35/70mm film projection systems, control systems, speakers, screens, seats, wall treatments and accessories for cinemas, universities, digital intermediate suites, commercial and residential screening rooms. Based in Brisbane, California, Theatre Service & Supply (TSS), a division of the Academy of Cinema Technology, Inc., was founded on September 16, 1993 by President, Bill Miller.
Theatre Service & Supply’s mission is to provide our clients with consulting services that ensure that the technical projection and sound equipment selected for the project is the most efficient & cost effective. As well as making sure the overall picture and sound performance is within SMPTE guidelines, practices & standards. And that the project designs and construction comply with THX recommendations and guidelines.
Theatre Service & Supply, Bill Miller, is actively involved with respected industry associations; International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE), Intersociety and the Digital Cinema Society (DCS). TSS charity involvement includes, but not limited to, Variety-The Children’s Charity of Southern & Northern California, and the Motion Picture & Television Fund.
